McPherson was appointed committee to look up the matter of hiring Librarian with full power to act and salary not to exceed $30.00<br />per month and report at next meeting.<br />On motion, meeting adjourned<br />A.D. Thompson, Secy<br /><br />At Special meeting held at Library Feby AD 1910 to consider election of Librarian.<br />Present M.J. McPherson, L.S. Brooke, Geo. Chapel, Geo. Barnes, R.B. McPherson & A.D. Thompson.<br />Applications as follows. Miss Alice ?Home, Miss Loretta Porter, Miss Ethel Dean Miss Carrie Crandall Mrs. Myrtle Wilkinson<br />On motion ballot was taken for Librarian as follows. Ethel Dean, 1 Loretta Porter, 2 Myrtle Wilkinson, 3 being no choice another ballot was taken with the following<br />result: Loretta Porter, 2 Myrtle Wilkinson, 4 On motion of R.B. McPherson the vote was declared unanimous and Mrs. Wilkinson declared<br />elected Librarian.<br />President instructed to see Mrs. Wilkinson and inform her of the action of the board and arrange to hire her for six months at $30.00 per month commencing February<br />14th, 1910.
